Some things at home and in the community may get a little more difficult as you get older. The Community Home Support Program will help you retain, regain, or improve your independence by supporting your daily activities and keeping you at home for longer.
Help at home and in the community may provide support with; basic housekeeping, cooking, help to do the shopping, home maintenance, accessing the community, social interaction, interest groups and excursions.

What do you need to do to access these services?

If you have not already been assessed by My Aged Care, you (or your nominated representative) can call My Aged Care on 1800 200 422.
The contact centre staff will ask questions to help them understand your needs and care arrangements to inform the next steps.
