For more than 25 Anne has been a driving force in ensuring Astley Care meets the aged care needs of the Gosnells community. Very much a family person, she has a particular interest in ensuring that the organisation is fully supportive of family carers and strives to ensure that all Astley Care’s staff understand and support Astley’s values and objectives.
Ron has been involved in community organisations for many years and, as well as his work with Astley Care is actively involved the Gosnells Men’s Shed. His extensive background and expertise in business practices, as well as his sense of community, is a valuable asset that helps guide the Board’s decision making.
Robyn has 30+ years experience in midwifery and nursing and is still very active in healthcare, including presenting regular induction talks for Nulsen Group Homes. She has a keen interest in the provision of quality healthcare for the elderly and the ongoing introduction of progressive ideas and methods in service delivery and governance.
Robyn is a Remedial Massage Therapist and brings extensive experience in leadership and management in both business and community organisations to Astley Care. She has always lived in the Gosnells area and her mother’s battle with dementia was a catalyst in her decision to join the Board as a way of giving something back to the community.
With more than 15 years on Astley Care’s board, Bill has held the positions of both Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson. He has an engineering background as well as holding Diplomas in Business Management and Financial Administration. Like all of our Board Members Bill’s involvement with Astley Care is a direct result of his desire to give something back to the community.
